"Waiting" on Wednesday - The F- It List

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spin, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week mine is The F- It List by Julie Halpern

  • Expected Publication: 12th of November by Feiwel & Friends
  • Format: Hardcover, 256 pages
  • Series:
  • Genre: Contemporary, Realistic Fiction
  • ISBN13: 9781250025654
Alex’s father recently died in a car accident. And on the night of his funeral, her best friend Becca slept with Alex’s boyfriend. So things aren’t great. Alex steps away from her friendship with Becca and focuses on her family.
But when Alex finally decides to forgive Becca, she finds out something that will change her world again--Becca has cancer.
So what do you do when your best friend has cancer? You help her shave her head. And then you take her bucket list and try to fulfill it on her behalf. Because if that’s all you can do to help your ailing friend--you do it.
The F- It List sounds like a very interesting book, that I think that I might enjoy. I have't read anything by Julie as of yet, so this will be a first. I think i would like it, as I have been liking realistic books in the last few months and I like a change ever once in a while.
What are you waiting for?

  1. o0o0o, I've seen this around. It sounds like it'll make me cry, and as a rule, I avoid books that make me cry (I figure reading is my ME TIME and I refuse to spend it being sad). But I hope you like it, it definitely sounds unique!
